The room was very spacious and comfortable everything and more was provided for our stay. Was offered a cream tea on arrival which of course we excepted. There was a great choice at breakfast. Terri was a wonderful host full of local knowledge. Would highly recommend. Crosscombe was a lovely village with a great pub serving good food. There was a bar at the b and b.

I could not fault my stay at all. I was met with a warm welcome, my room was clean, tidy and very comfortable. The host was amazing and very helpful. I would definitely stay again and recommend.

We picked the Cross at Croscombe as a convenient place to stop halfway between Kent and Cornwall, and fairly close to the Cheddar Gorge. It was an excellent choice. The guest house is a lovely old building and our very spacious room was furnished modernly and very comfortably. Although The Cross is on the main road through Croscombe, the road was not that busy and The Cross was very quiet. The owner was very friendly and welcomed us with a cream tea. She was also very interesting about some of the history of the village. Our breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice. PS. Cheddar Gorge itself is worth a visit but Cheddar is rather tacky, dare I say cheesy.

Cosy, comfortable and very clean. Warm and friendly welcome. Large bedroom with everything you need, spotless bathroom. Lovely shared lounge and honesty bar. Superb breakfast with full english cooked to order, plus fruit, cereals, juice. Will be returning.

We had an excellent stay for exploring the area. The hostess was extremely warm and accommodating and the room was perfect. The village is quaint and beautiful. We would stay again.

Wonderful

An absolutely wonderful stay, a true home from home. Spotlessly clean, wonderfully comfortable and all backed up by the most amazing breakfast. The host is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Looking forward to staying again!

Beautifully furnished rooms - clean and fresh with comfortable beds. We received a lovely welcome of scones and tea on arrival - which was very much appreciated after a difficult visit to a care home. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. Terry, our host, could not have been more helpful

A diamond near Wells.

The B&B was lovely. Beautiful area and decorated so cute. The hostess was one of the best people I’ve ever meet. Friendly and sweet. Made for a wonderful vacation.

Teri was an amazing host, the b&b was just lovely. Room was very comfortable and clean, breakfast was really lovely. Good choice of fruit and cereals, also the cooked breakfast was just right and very hot out the kitchen. Nice to have a little lounge area and self service mini bar. Which we will make more of on our next visit.

We had a great time at the cross. Terri was an excellent host . The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast, well there so much variety and all fresh. We would definately stay there again.
