Beautifully decorated and everything you need, but... it is more like a modular 4-apartment home / b&b - no ocean view, at the end of a dirt road (lots of dust), but a few deer met us as we unpacked. We were skeptical at first, yet pleasantly surprised with our stay. I highly recommend, so long as your expectations are set."

"This was my 2nd time at Bar Harbor Manor, and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. Hands down, the staff is the friendliest and most helpful out of anywhere I’ve ever stayed. My daughter has a food allergy, and they bent over backwards to make sure she was accommodated for and gave us recommendations for the entire town. The rooms are huge for the price, and the main lobby area is adorable. If I ever get the chance to come back to Bar Harbor, I will not be staying anywhere else!...

"Main ST. Hotel is in an excellent location for walking downtown to the many restaurants, shops, and tours. Also close enough to drive to Acadia park. Parking is free, the staff had many recommendations for eateries and activities. Free coffee, free water, snacks. A very friendly staff. Quiet, no partying going on. We will be back !!!"

"Really good experience here for our 3 night stay. Originally booked for 4 nights but had to cut it short a night for a family issue. The staff and manager provided personalized, kind and quick service to work with me on the early check out. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is attentive and pleasant. 5 to 10 min walk to town. Snacks, coffee, ice and water bottle refill machine were all appreciated. The location was nicely located and quiet; if you don’t mind walking it’s just a mile walk to downtown Bar Harbor. We really enjoyed our stay here."
