"charged me an extra $1590 to my debit card a day before i checked out. on top of the $990 i payed for my four day stay and the $568 i put as a deposit on my credit card. when i tried to ask the manager what happened she insisted it was a smoking fee (we did not smoke in the room) and sent an invoice for two charges of $568. (even with $1000 smoking fee which is unheard of that is still an extra $1000 unexplained) she was extremely rude and combative, claiming that i had been vaping in the room because she saw a vape in my hand in the lobby. this issue is still unresolved and i’m having to dispute it with my bank. i’ve stayed here multiple times, i take care to go outside to smoke even in the rain because i had been charged a $250 smoking fee before. this is the first i’ve ever heard of $1000 smoking fee- i will obviously never be staying at a Marriott again. also their cafe takes 1-2 hours and the staff is outright hostile. hopefully i can be refunded at least some of the $3,000 i spent for a four day stay at a popcorn ceiling dusty hotel. outlandish."
