"We had a wonderful time at Neptune Villas and were sad to leave! The property is as described and shown in the images. The private pool at the villas was amazing and the deck outside is where we spent most of our time just enjoying the view over Chalk Sound. Be aware there is not really any items in the kitchen as far as oil, ketchup, etc. There is salt and pepper and that is all. All the pots, pans, plates are there though. "The public areas of the property are aesthetically appealing, featuring a well-maintained swimming pool. Excellent access to the beach with lounge chairs is available. The front desk staff and restaurant personnel are both friendly and accommodating. However, the condition of the rooms is disappointing. The room I occupied lacked soundproofing; noises such as children shouting, footsteps from the upstairs guests, and conversations in the hallway were clearly audible and echoed into the room....

"We loved The Sands! Great location. Beautiful beach. Rooms were large. Screened in porch was great. Washer/dryer in every room came in handy. Cute little mini kitchen perfect for coffee, breakfast and lunch. The staff is amazing! Walking distance to town and shops was a real plus for us. Highly recommend!"

"Good location near lots of local spots to eat and hang out at. Didn’t have to go far! Free taxi to a beautiful private beach. If you’re looking for an all inclusive or huge pool this is not the spot, but location is perfect if you like to walk around and hang with locals. Hide away bar & grill (food truck) has the best jerk chicken I’ve had in a long time!"

"Hotel was beautiful, clean, and the white sand beach was absolutely gorgeous. Staff very attentive and friendly. The daily breakfast was AMAZING. However, it took them a long time to forward extra blankets, and replace TV remote. This was due to short staff. Overall, I will definitely return to this property, EXCELLENT OVER ALL."
