"We booked a room for two adults and a 15 year old - clearly 3 beds. We were given a room with a double bed only - obviously wrong. It took Herculean efforts to get this changed and even when we did, we had to wait to transfer cases to the new room and the bed was still not made up at 10pm that night. Mistakes can happen, I get that however it’s how you respond to mistakes that matters. This took too long to resolve."

"It is easy to walk the city, ride the T and get back to the hotel. An elevator to the Aquarium T stop is just outside the doors. The staff was helpful in directing us to Fenway Park via the T. We had breakfast a couple of times in the restaurant, one time on the front patio when it warmed up. We took a cab from the airport but once we learned the T we took it back to the airport, easy and cheap. Clean room, great staff, air conditioning good."

"No hand soap in the bathrooms. Had to reach into the shower to get soap to wash our faces and hands after a day out in the city. We didn't appreciate the "Boom Boom Rap Music" coming up from "North 26" at 11 PM. Really not necessary. I don't know if North 26 is officially associated with The Bostonian but if it is, I'd relook that relationship. The restaurant is GREAT in the mornings though."

"I was a little nervous to stay here because of the polar opposite reviews, but my stay was excellent! Hotel was super clean, staff was nice, location couldn’t be beat. Now the outside has an “older” appearance but the inside seems to have been recently renovated. My only issue was the bathroom, I’m 5’5” and it was cramped in there and the shower head was just at the top of my head and the toilet was very close to the wall. The rest of the room was spacious though. I didn’t have the breakfast so...
