"No anonymous decor here. Each room in this converted old home was uniquely furnished with period furniture and comfortable, though our room could use a good deep cleaning. Breakfast was very good and it was an easy walk to everything in town."

"The room was spacious and very clean ! Beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed having a balcony. We also LOVED the pool ! It was such a nice place to relax. Great location (10minutes walking distance to the city center). Staff was also very nice and accommodating. Only reason why I did not give a 5 stars overall is because the free breakfast was below average. But would 100% come back !"

"Very clean and well stocked rooms. You can get extra towels for the pool. Plenty of parking and staff is always welcoming and helpful. We have stayed there many times and love the rooms with kitchen and separate bedroom and pet friendly!"

"The receptionist was VERY nice and helpful when we checked in. We enjoyed our stay until 5:30 the next morning when the trash truck arrived very loudly outside our window. It was loud and continuous. Then we went to breakfast and the lady who served the breakfast (I didn’t get her name) got very upset because someone had dropped a lot of crumbs on the floor. "Very beautiful 100 year old house, with period furnishings. It is very clean and the hostess was nice and helpful. It is walking distance to the town of Barre which has several dining options and nice downtown. The breakfast was excellent, made with local produce and ingredients. It is a great location as a base to visit different places in Vermont."
