"The rooms are clean and the staff is incredibly friendly, which is why my family has made staying here an annual Memorial Day tradition. Unfortunately, the building is visibly degrading and urgently needs a remodel. During our recent stay, the elevator failed twice—the doors closed, but it stalled completely for about four minutes before finally moving. Additionally, the pool area needs fresh paint and better screening to hide ongoing construction. The complimentary breakfast was also very disappointing this year; it used to include sausage links or patties, but has been reduced to just eggs, waffles, and cereal. We love the team here, but the property desperately needs maintenance to match their excellent service."
