West End hotel guide. Motel 6 hotel in West End, Galveston

"You see a small view of beach from the balcony. Breakfast was very disappointing. Cold cereal, bagels, muffins, or boiled eggs was the option. The gentleman in the evenings was helpful, but you didn’t receive any help in the morning. Room was ok for cleanliness. What was very disappointing was that we stay for 3 nights and NEVER got room service. We had to take out our own garbage, get new toilet paper, and towels. I have never received this bad of service before. Very disappointing. "

"We had the fire alarm go off at 3:30 a.m., waking up our entire family and requiring us to grab our things and head downstairs. It eventually stopped, but we never received any communication from staff explaining what happened, an apology, or any form of compensation or discount."

"The breakfast menu had powdered eggs, bread, cereal, waffles, and yogurt. It was ok in quality. After breakfast times the areas were cleaned and tables put up, so no area to just sit. Towels were clean and the rooms were ok. Unfortunately, I started getting spam calls after I booked my room here. "

"The room I was checked into had not been cleaned. The second room was missing several items (desk chair, new toilet paper, no hangers in closet, no luggage stand, remote control missing back of unit). When I went to the front desk to let them know about these things, the person did nothing to deal with any of these issues. I also sent an email directly to the hotel listing these issues and requested a refund. To date, I have not received a response. Very poor customer service so will not be going back and would not recommend!"
