"The room was cozy and clean, safe and walkable area of Ballard. Very communicative and easy to get in and check out. Nice to have the mini fridge and small kitchenette in the room. They give you ear plugs since it is a shared building with other suites, which was a nice touch. Everything I needed for a quick stay."

"I saw some bad reviews when i booked but it was reasonable price than downtown and it turned out to be very clean..the guy in the front who helped me check in was friendly and welcoming..i will def be back and the area to me was not bad..yeah theres a bus stop and homeless people but thats everywhere even downtown!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Phinneywood Basement Hideaway. We slept very well. The property was easy to access and the rental was well equipped with kitchen items for cooking at home, and had plenty of bathroom accessories (towels & toilet paper). "We absolutely loved staying in this charming 1925 ‘craftsman’ home. She has a lot of character and one can almost imagine the stories this home holds! All that one would need is provided and the fact that groceries and restaurants were in walking distance is a huge plus (btw, walking the alley to all is much less taxing than taking the sidewalk out front!
