"This property has the best beach in the area. The hotels rooms seem to have been upgraded over the years. The beds are so comfy and the bathroom showers are perfect to bathe and relax in. The staff is amazing…always very helpful and always smiling… we have favorite bartenders, Eddy, Chris, Troy & Gerry and servers Allison and Lupe… these staff members always remember us and treat us like family. The pools are refreshing, the landscaping is beautiful. The family & children’s pools are well maintained with lots to do for the little ones & the adult pool areas are the best on “hotel row.” There are many places on the property to eat & the good is simply delicious and we eat at all of them over the course of our stays. We have stayed at this property over 10 times and we won’t stay anywhere else!"

"Location Location Location The Whaler is right on the beach. Next door to Whalers Village so you can walk right over to shop or eat. All three of our excursions left less than a 5 minute walk from our hotel. The staff was great, parking is easy and our favorite part was the beautiful koi pond."

"We went in July and had an amazing time. The property has pretty much everything you would want. We were traveling with three teenagers and grandparents and had two ocean view rooms. The upgrade is absolutely worth it for the view. The staff was amazing and we had access to everything we needed for an exceptional trip. The entire family agreed we would easily stay here again without question."

"The property was very clean. The rooms were cleaned daily to help with overload of sand from the beautiful beach. The beach was not overcrowded and the sunsets on the beach are spectacular. I really enjoyed the daily shaved ice hut on property. It was very easy and convenient to charge your onsite expenses to the room. The onsite food for the breakfast buffet, Teppan-Yaki, and the onsite luau was very good. We walked or used Uber to take us to local restaurants. My only gripe was the game room wasn’t open for my tween and twenty teen. This was one of the best vacation experiences for me and my family."
