"We had a great stay at the Gold Coast. It’s not a huge resort-style hotel if that is what you are looking for, but they have everything you need. It’s also within walking distance of Denny’s and a Walgreens and the Rio and the Palms. The strip is a quick 10 minute or less drive. The room was clean and looked updated"
Masquerade Tower at Rio Hotel & Casino

"We love staying at the Rio. We get the 1600 sq ft suite and have never had a complaint. Usually we are on the 10th floor and above, this time we were put on the 5th floor. The view of the strip was blocked by roof top buildings the hot water in the bathroom sinks had to be turned on for 5 mins before we got hot water and out of 4 heaters only 1 (in the bathroom) got warm. The bedroom tv kept signing off saying no connection. This visit was not as great as all the other times we've stayed there."

"Excellent room with space to move around, larger than average, I had 12 ft. between the end of the bed and the desk on the opposite wall. Quality mattress and bedding. Clean, roomy bathroom. Shower, no bathtub. Gave me free breakfasts in their restaurant, better than continental buffet."

"This is a great hotel to stay at if you want to be away from the strip! The staff were very friendly and welcoming - the check-in process was a breeze. The hotel room itself was very spacious and clean upon arrival - no complaints at all. You can’t hear any noise from your neighbours so if you’re with a big group or children, it should be fine. If you’re travelling to Las Vegas without a car like myself, the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle bus that drops you off at Treasure Island, which runs every hour. Overall, I’d definitely come back to Wyndham Desert Blue and I highly recommend the hotel as well!"
