"The hotel was excellent in all aspects! Loved our stay. A very aesthetically beautiful property. Excellent food - pizzas & sticky toffee pudding are a MUST TRY!! Very well kept, proper service & extremely clean. Staff - very helpful, polite & kind!"

"The suite was spacious and well appointed and the location was fantastic - walking distance to great pubs, bars and restaurants as well as Blenheim Palace. The suite contained a King size bed, a sofa and a separate seating area. Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication at check-in and we were not told we MUST leave the hanger on the door if we want our room cleaned. So we arrived back in the evening to find it not made up, which was disappointing. We spoke to the front desk but the cleaning staff had left for the day. Jade, who is extraordinary, and seamlessly and cheerfully covers everything from the bar to breakfast, took it upon herself to clean the room for us - and gifted us a bottle of bubbly. Overall a great experience - but remember to put out your room hanger!"

"Very cute and cozy hotel in a beautiful old property, much like the rest of the town. It feels like a truly authentic Cotswolds place to stay, with plenty of old-world charm and character. The building is definitely old, but it is fairly well maintained. The floors were creaky, although luckily we didn’t hear any external noise from our room, so we slept well. There was also street parking available, which was very convenient. The breakfast was definitely a highlight; we really enjoyed it. Overall, a charming and authentic Cotswolds experience."
