"The property has two kiey takeaways: an excellent staff, and a building in need of immediate reclamation for black mold in our room. This is a case of maintenance, not really cleanliness. The bathroom has no venting, therefore the steam is damaging the wallpaper and making it peel. The peeling corners and edges are at the top of the wall, so it's not something that you'd readily see, until you sit down. I did meet with the FOH manager, and they took action immediately. At the same time, Hotels.com charged me a 300$ deposit that was not sent to the site, and for breakfast which we paid for with our reservation. I am disputing the charge for the deposit."
