"This hotel was exactly what we wanted. It is located right off the Riverwalk, which can be accessed via the property, The Alamo is a very short walk as well. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a little splurge when coming to San Antonio this hotel is highly recommend. Just note that you will need to pay for either self parking or valet. The valet is only about 10 dollars more than self park and it is well worth it. If checking in close to the check in time make note that getting into the hotel may be a little challenging as many are trying to do the same. Just be patient the valet staff move pretty quickly to allow folks to unload bags and either take the cars or have people move off to do self parking. The roof top pool is EVERYTHING. It overlooks San Antonio. You can sit in one of the pool chairs or lounge in the wicker dome cabana's and listen to music from the Riverwalk or look out at the beautiful view. The only negative was the street noise while sleeping. We were on the second floor on the street side (not Riverwalk side) and could hear a lot of street traffic when trying to sleep. If you are a light sleeper make sure to request a room higher up or bring noise cancelling ear buds/headphones."
