"A very warm welcome when we arrived. The bedroom had character, was clean and comfortable with a nice view of the loch. Ten minutes walk to the centre of Ullapool. Checking in was at set times, booked before arrival, the last time being 6.45pm, which was a little restrictive. Compared with other places to stay this was good value for money."

Trotz mehrfacher Kontaktversuche reagierte das Personal überhaupt nicht, und ein alternatives Zimmer wurde uns ebenfalls nicht angeboten. Wahrend und nach dem Aufenthalt hatten wir Beschwerden, die nach unserem Eindruck mit der Situation im Zimmer zusammenhingen und erst Tage später vollständig abgeklungen sind. Auch das Frühstück war für die geschätzt rund 30 Gäste völlig unzureichend: etwa sechs Scheiben...

"Die Unterkunft war zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Besonders der Seeblick hat uns gefallen. Die Unterkunft war sauber. Allerdings war das Bett etwas durchgelegen und die Unterkunft hellhörig. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat für uns nicht zu 100% gepasst, was allerdings auch an den Zimmerpreisen auf der gesamten Insel liegen kann, der etwas höherpreisig ist"

"This place is just a notch above a hostel. Only difference is you have a private room and bathroom. One key per room, no matter how many people are in the room. Refrigerator is located in the management office which is locked up most of the evening. Microwave is in a bottom floor lounge that is locked clearly evening and not unlocked until 10am. TV in rooms only work for streaming if you have an account with the streaming service. No elevator/lift at all. They’ve put a lot of work into this...
