"From the street, the property looks inviting. The rooms are in SERIOUS need of a full and complete rehab. The place needs about $2M in upgrades and/or repairs. Door frames to rooms show rot (Cannon Beach, like all the Pacific & Atlantic coast towns) are in a toxic marine enviroment. Salt, wind...you get the idea. "We found the lodge to be a lovely place. Well appointed and loved the historical pictures and items that replaced around the lodge. Would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"Morrison's river lodge is truly unique. Every detail has been curated. From the dining room you look out onto a large grassy area with tall trees shading the lodge and lawn down to the river. The staff is superb! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there before we set out on our grand river rafting adventure!"
