"The location was nice and the staff was polite and helpful. However, we did request extra pillows which were approved but never delivered. The pool was not good. I called ahead to check that it was functioning and was told it was “heated and cleaned twice a day,” however it was ice cold and so murky you couldn’t see the bottom of the pool. No actual food options inside the hotel, which we knew ahead of time but also will cause us to look elsewhere to stay in the future."

"All in all, it was an excellent experience with the exception of the water pressure. The hot water pressure was absolutely horrible."

"Most of the front desk staff we interacted with were extremely rude and unhelpful. Amanda was wonderful though. Room is tiny but the bathroom is nice. The place was “clean” but not spotless we found a stain on one of the pillows and a lot of stuff was covered in dust. Bar/coffee shop was great though. One of the elevators also went out which was frustrating for everyone. "

"We enjoyed a spacious suite in this lovely historic hotel. The staff members were very friendly and accommodating. It's a great location, not far from the lake. It is located next to the el; however, our room was quiet. Parking is rather spendy. "
