"We had a very warm welcome from the friendly staff and were shown to the room which was clean and bright. The food that evening was excellent, and as it was a warm evening we spent a pleasant time sitting outside with our drinks afterwards. "Lovely country stay"

"Nice, spacious room, fully equipped and lovely walk-in shower. Free parking with plenty of spaces. No restaurant for evening meals but the HI next door offers dining for International guests. Breakfast lived up to it's promise as complimentary "continental" but it also had a very limited hot buffet which ran out of eggs and took over ten minutes to replenish."

"Generally the rooms are to a high standard. The breakfasts are excellent, and the staff really friendly. Easy car parking. Only quibble is that we tried to book another 2 day stay, the system didn’t allow this - wanted 3 or more: this may vary with time of year."

The waiting staff are lovely unlike the cold, unfriendly receptionists who should work at a GP’s! The grounds were picturesque and the pool okay if a bit too warm in the heatwave.
