"The property was historic. Loved the charm. The bed was very nice and we slept well. Small town Indiana at its best. Sauerkraut balls at the Bier Garden were great and we enjoyed the live music. Thanks for a great weekend with no kids."

"The room was musty smelling and everything felt damp. The carpeting was so filthy it was almost sticky feeling on your bare feet. Bathroom was clean but did not fill the toilet paper up. Left nearly empty rolls and no extras. It advertises a pool but there is no pool. The ice from the ice machine tasted terrible. Most of the front desk staff we encounter did not hardly speak or understand English. I do not recommend this place and we will not be staying there again. I would sleep in my car...

The staff were helpful and the property is centrally located to a lot of restaurants and stores. My son and I stayed here for two nights for a travel baseball tournament and would stay here again in a heartbeat."

"The hotel was undergoing a remodel, but was as clean as could be expected. Patty at the front desk was super nice and very helpful. Our room was clean, there was an abundance of hot water and water pressure, and above all, even though the hotel is adjacent to the Interstate, it was quiet! The breakfast selection was pretty much Continental...scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy, various breads for toasting, an assortment of cereals (Hot and Cold), fresh fruit and juices, coffee,...

The secondary outside entrance door on the east side of the building did not lock or fully close- not safe. Lots of cigarettes butts & trash at door. Saw at least 2 cars in the parking lots each with a man just sitting in the car for hours, don’t know if they were sleeping in their cars or why just sitting there. Room was not very clean.
