Wingate by Wyndham Charlotte Airport I-85/I-485
The room rates around CLT are so high I found the need to economise. Room 300 was good but too distant (?) to connect wifi, I had to go out down the hall to connect. I selected Wingate on price, checkout time (noon) and free shuttle & breakfast. You have to call for the shuttle to come to airport ...

Comfort Suites Gastonia - Charlotte

Sonesta Select Charlotte University Research Park
The hotel apparently allows dogs in the rooms. One room that we had to walk by couple of times each day had a large dog that was left unattended. The dog barked loudly and for a period of time each time someone passed by the room.
