"Rooms smelt like wet mold. HVAC system was not clean. The hotel lobby and bar area is clean and nice but rooms not so great"

"We did not have a very good stay. Upon arrival we were told that the water was going to be turned off the following day from 11:30am-3pm during which time we could not use the sink, shower or toilet. Needless to say this was quite inconvenient. Additionally, housekeeping had not cleaned our room by 3:30pm. We told the front desk about it and they said they would have it taken care of right away, so we made sure to leave our room for the next hour. Upon our return, it had still not been cleaned....

"A major issue for me was the fact that the TV could only go to level 10 which made it nearly impossible to hear what anyone was saying. I could understand limiting the level but it needs to be at a level that you can hear. Trying to relax in my room while watching TV was near impossible since I was struggling to hear what anyone said. This is a big enough issue where I will not be returning to this location."

"It was nice and contemporary. The downside was that there was a party happening in the pool area (food included), that crowded seating areas and with big kids hanging in the hot tub which was not expected at hotel, let alone Westin! Bathroom item just 1 little body lotion. And the biggest inconvenience is parking. Went around 15 mins just to find parking which we have never experienced at a hotel we paid to stay in. We won’t be returning due to this."

"I saw some terrible reviews for this hotel and was very skeptical. It was great and well priced for the area. We would definitely stay here again. I think it was a little too “clean” for my tastes. It smelled like Pine-Sol everywhere. The free breakfast did the job. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The front desk experience was a little strange. She did not speak English very well and whenever I interacted with her while checking in, if I had a question, she looked annoyed. Not sure...

"Overall it was what we anticipated. However, we had a problem with the bathroom. We notified the help desk that the toilet is not flushing properly and it's not usable; they said the maintenance is out and they'll send someone to look into it. They didn't send anyone to check, and they didn't offer to change the rooms. They could have communicated clearly to address the issue. We had to use the bathroom in the lobby."

"Location for San Jose quakes games, Santa Clara University, SJ airport and Levi stadium are ideal. We stop here every time we are in Santa Clara visiting our son. There are three Element hotels in the area all are a superior choices to other mid price hotels"

"We are local residents and booked this hotel primarily to use the Topgolf Swing Suite. Unfortunately, we received conflicting information about its availability. In the evening, we were told it was closed, but the next morning we were informed that it only operates in the evenings. Since this was one of the main reasons for our stay, it was disappointing. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the staff were generally friendly. However, there was only one set of towels in the room...
