"I can’t really see if there were shops nearby because we drove everywhere surface family. I didn’t see any pets, what I thought was crazy is that you had to pay $45 a night to valet your car also when we did check into a room I had dropped my phone cord on the floor when I went to pick it up in like one halfway under the bed when I pulled it out, there was a pair of dirty underwear under the bed so obviously housekeeping doing their job. We call downstairs They put us in another room but the other room the floor was buckling and the ceiling was peeling so they put us in another room the same thing what’s happening but not that bad so we ended up staying in that room. Manager was amazing. He gave us $60 in vouchers to use in the restaurant/bar in the whole time. We should’ve gotten a free night but it is what it is what I recommended again yes"

"Rooms were clean but outdated"

"First we were told our 8ft trailer would be towed if we left it there for the day while we were out. However later they said it would be fine because it fit in a spot. In the room the bedspread was so old that it was shredded in places. Both days at breakfast the fruit was very little and when gone they didn't cut more. Mind you the was still 8am 2 hrs till breakfast ened. Plus one morning the little fridge was empty when i asked if there was more strawberry yogurt she brought me out 1 but didn't fill the fridge. Again 8am ish. So no i don't think it we do another show in Houston will i choose a holiday inn express. Not to mention they like to bad mouth each other. When we arrived there i said i thought i had booked the hotel next to the convention center. I said it was strange there outside light were out the night manager said ohh stuff there is always broken and luckily were here that this pne was better. What a joke not a great stay"

"Buen hotel, está cómodo, el internet es muy bueno, sin embargo los alrededores son bastante feos, obvio no es culpa del hotel, pero de alguna manera quitan puntos al gran servicio del hotel."

"Beautifully classic, elegant and well-maintained hotel in the heart of Downtown Houston with excellent staff, Nelli, Mark and Brandon were out of this world. I would definitely return over and over again, amazing service all around."

"Hotel is conveniently located in downtown, room was spacious and bed comfortable. However building is old (in the picture looks more updated). We stayed 3 nights and not once the room got serviced. The one time I asked for coffee to be replenished, they said they would said someone and no one ever showed up. Also the restaurant of the hotel said they were unable to accommodate for shelfish allergies which is kind of standard in most restaurants now a days. This property is overpriced. "
