"This hotel cancelled my booking an hour before check in. They claimed it was overbooked but I did notice that since I booked the hotel moved to a 2 night minimum stay.
Poor service & very poor communication, I just hope they don’t do the same to a vulnerable person."

"The Rockwell apartment was an excellent place to stay while visiting London.
Very cose to Tower Bridge, & subway station. Walkable to bridge & Tower of London, and pathway along the Thames.
Well appointed large studio room with fine finishings, view of city skyline & quiet.
Would definitely book again when in London."

Overall, my stay was okay, but there were several issues that made it less enjoyable.
The biggest problem by far was the temperature in the room. It was around 28–30°C outside, but the room reached 31.5°C. The window only opens a small amount, so it is impossible to cool the room down in the evening. Sleeping comfortably was very difficult.
The online reception was also disappointing. It took over 30 minutes to get a concrete...

"The location was pretty close to both Aldgate East (3-5 minute walk) and Aldgate (7-10 minute walk) stations, which made getting around the city pretty easy. It is a little farther from many of the tourist attractions than I’d realized by looking at a map, but thankfully I wasn’t too crunched for time during my visit.

"The hotel is not as far out as one might think with Whitechapel tube giving fast access to Tottenham Court Road and the 15 and 205 buses connecting with Aldywch and Marble Arch. The area is safe and with great food options and full of real Londoners not American tourists! The hotel breakfast was of a high quality and the room very comfortable. Tea and coffee is from a machine on each floor and there is a vending machine on one floor as well as a nice roof area on floor 4."

"The only opportunities for improvement we saw were that they didn't have wash cloths/ face cloths and that getting replacement towels was slightly inconvenient. Since they don't come to your room to clean, they don't replace the towels. You need to call or go down to the front desk to exchange them.
Property was clean, a good size, and staff was great. There's a bus stop right out front and 2 different tube stations about an 8 minute walk away.
A nice place to stay outside the core of London...

"This was the first time we had stayed here, upon arriving an hour early, asked if we could check our bags and they advised they did not offer this service and suggested we should go down the street to a company that would do it. We decided to wait in the lobby as check was at 3. We did not get in until 4.
The apartment was not cleaned very well, floors were dirty and desks and lamps had not been dusted,
I doubt i would stay at this location again"

"Our stay here went without a hitch. Kitchen was fully equipped, everything was clean and bed linen was nice and fresh. No complaints about the room at all as it was just as described.
The walls are a bit thin so you can hear noises from outside in the corridor and across the rooms so just be aware incase you get some rowdy neighbours 😅"
