"Staff were wonderful as was the room and the food available in the restaurant. Only disadvantage was the lack of car parking but that still wouldn’t put us off returning."

Il faut désormais sortir de l'hôtel, se rendre dans un snack moyen-oriental quelques maisons plus loin pour un petit-déjeuner qui n'est plus très anglais, et supporter de la musique orientale (à moins de porter un casque antibruit, solution que j'ai fini par adopter). Cela ôte une grand partie du plaisir qu'il y avait à séjourner dans cet hôtel."

"We have stayed twice at The Victoria and will no doubt stay in the future. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate as well as biscuits. The building is old and tired, but it is clean and very good value for money, The restaurant is welcoming and the food is good too. The location is convenient to walk into Canterbury. Parking is FREE at The Victoria."

"Very nice old building, immediately adjacent to the entrance to Canterbury Cathedral ticket office. Centrally located on the Royal Mile. The main downside is that parking is about 1/4 mile away and Ubers and Taxis can only get you within 100 yards of the door"
