"Parking fine. Very old hotel so be aware the stairs are a bit steep and it is very quaint. Room I had was very spacious. It was tidy and clean but reflects its age which for me was fine. Breakfast was plentiful. Very near centre of Whittlesey so handy for shops. Staff lovely and helpful. It has ghosts if you like the paranormal. "

"Empty toilet roll in holder but apart from that everything was good and clean. Nice room with plenty of space. Aircon was not working it would not turn on. Safe in room is a nice touch, but sadly no fridge. Shame really as the room deserves one. Nice quality black out curtains. Staff are excellent! Overall for the price i paid it was well worth the money. I have stayed many times and will be back soon. "

"There is a good amount of on-site parking which feels secure and the hotel is a short walk from the City Centre. The reception area (pictured) is quite small so you'll need to lounge elsewhere. Not sure why the reception insisted on my photographic ID upon checking in."

"1) Checkin details were not provided - I had to contact Hotels.com and wait ±1hr outside in the windy street to get these. Checkin was 4pm but I couldnt get in until 90 mins later. 2) Once inside the building; Entrance hall filthy with full black bags in corner, wall staining, filthy carpets, laundry cages strewn. No-one around at all, felt very unsafe. 3) Once inside the flat, it felt like someone had just left in a rush, but I couldnt be sure until I had gone through the apartment. Spooky. Windows left open with blinds flapping. Musty. Ironing board out. Remotes in strange places. 4) Bed looked like someone had just lain ontop of it. Side of bed as found, was disgusting - see photo. 5) Kitchen was grubby - fridge freezer had rubbish and dust on top (in normal eye view) and the freezer had frozen over so door was stuck open. Kitchen panel missing with screw sticking out at touch level. Not sure how this ever got through Hotels.com vetting processes, but I will be considering *very carefully* in future how I book."

"Property was okay, there was staining around shower basin seals and rust where the toilet brush etc had not been replaced in a LONG time. Glad I brought my own kitchen utensils with me as everything at the property was damaged. Couldn’t even leave a fresh dish sponge for a new stay so questioned how clean the place actually was. The Lino in the kitchen was damaged in places and the fridge had been turned off and leaked into the kitchen floor. Also staining / dirt on sofa so couldn’t really relax in the building. The surrounding properties were noisy, loud, up at all hours of the night and with the apartment being on the ground floor you could hear everything. The properly had no real noise insulation so every step from the floor above or as other residents used the stairs / front door of the building echoed. Poor night sleep which wasn’t ideal when staying away for work. "
