"Loved the classical beauty of the hotel, decor and landscaping. Room and hotel as a whole was very clean. Shower heat/pressure was amazing. Front desk staff was super nice and I liked there being a fancy restaurant and lounge so we had the option of staying in. Only minor issue was having to valet the car causing 10-20 minute delays every time we needed to leave."

"The property is older, has smaller rooms, worn public spaces and not special but charges like it’s the a brand new Ritz or Four seasons. It does not deserve the four stars. "

"We had an excellent stay. Hotel located in the perfect area - a lot of stores, places to eat, and coffee shops all in less than 5 mins walking distance. Breakfast was great also - a lot of different options. Ruth, front desk agent, is AMAZING! Also, she makes the BEST old fashioned in DC! Overall, great place for leisure or business. I def recommend! "I would never stay here again even though the hotel was excellent. The property is beautiful and clean. The staff were friendly and the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The speak easy is fun with good cocktails. That said, the rooftop terrace is NOT a lounge. Instead it’s a full club from Thursday-Saturday night. We stayed on the 6th floor and I could hear every song played upstairs while taking a shower to get ready for dinner through trying to go to sleep with AirPods in noise...
