"The major pros : location - steps from Allentown gay village . Free outdoor parking . Charming hotel reminds me of being in an old fashioned movie. If you want modern etc don’t book here but if you’re after charm go for it. This hotel is kind of like an old apartment building but it’s a place to sleep and recoup."

"The hotel is really run down. There is a musty smell. The front desk couldn’t hear me on the rotary phone. Strong smell of bleach and there was some beetle bug in the bathroom. It is close to Darien Lake, so that was a plus."

"We were very surprised at the poor quality of The Country Inn by Radisson. We normally stay at Hampton Inns and expected the Radisson to be similar. It was not. NO in-room charging outlets, the pillows were as flat as pancakes and the pillow covers looked like they had been rolled into a ball before dressing the pillows. No mirror over the desk/table for doing hair and makup, and the overall cleanliness was very poor. We won’t return to this hotel."

When this was brought to the attention of the front desk, they acknowledged that they knew about it and couldn’t do anything about it because they didn’t have access to the cabinet that stores the soap and paper towels. Instead of just going out to get soap for the guest, also lends the question if the staff are washing their hands if there’s no soap for the public? Then when we got to our room, there was also no soap to...

"The bed was incredibly soft. That's all the positive I have unfortunately. We had breakfast all three morning, Eggs were cold and no real sausage. We checked in and immediately found that our room had no curtains. Called front desk and they graciously moved us to another room. Even though we were trying to get ready for an event that we were late for due to flight delays, we were told we had to do it NOW so someone else could be checked into the room (without curtains). "Clean"

"Out off 6 reading lamps on the room only 2 worked. Plug to alarm clock was bent and didn’t work. Check in was a bad experience. Everyone had to wait in lobby then rushed in to the desk exactly at 4 pm. I never experienced that at any hotel."

"Nice and quiet. Everything is a little dated but that can be expected for the price point. Had no interaction with staff at all which was fine. Good value for the money."
