"Very handy location for visiting the Guildhall for an evening concert. Located above a Japanese restaurant (that looked stunning but I didn’t have time to eat there) and very close to the high street and main Town amenities. Approx 10 min walk from the train station which had very fast service to London."

"The room itself (room 1 deluxe) is well designed & sympathetically decorated to the age of the building giving a feeling of opulence meets modern. The toilet cisterns take ages to refill but I suspect this is due to the age of the plumbing! The bed is very comfy. The downside to the room is that in the unprecedented heat there was inadequate little fan which meant leaving the french doors open during the night. This faced a main junction so traffic noise was an issue. The building itself is old...

"The shower was leaking and so the bathroom and floor of the room were wet/damp. There was a strong smell of mararjuna. The beds were comfortable though and it was good to have 2 singles with the double. Couldn't find any breakfast."
