"The Plough is in a very picturesque area and is also very conveniently situated and easy to get to. The room was comfortable and the pub itself had a friendly feel with an excellent menu. Beside quite a busy road but it was quiet at night. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area.

"We had a lovely stay here--the room and breakfast were both delightful and we enjoyed the gorgeous garden. We especially appreciated how kind and welcoming Dotty was. The perfect place to stay in Winchester!"
"Have stayed here many times because we love the area. Bathroom is needing an upgrade, dirty and curtains are shabby. Beds are clean and comfortable, hot drink facilities are good and excellent access to Costa and McDonald’s."
"A really great and unique experience that was different to the usual B&B offering. Room, breakfast and people were all excellent and would recommend a visit if in Winchester. Thanks! Neal"

Lovely, historical city with lots of things to see. Beautiful view from the room overlooking the famous Cathedral. Went to evensong whilst there, was a lovely experience. Oldest bar in England was also tried, The Royal Oak, lovely atmosphere.

The town center around the Cathedral is compact and has interesting shops. The Cathedral itself is both impressive and beautiful. It even has a used book store tucked away in a side corner.
