Friendly staff. Room was spacious, warm and comfortable. Location was good for Windermere itself and the nearby shops. Breakfast was piping hot and served quickly. Would recommend and stay here again.

This accommodation is perfectly located - less than 5 minutes walk from bars, cafés, restaurants & shops...less than 1 mile from attractions (World of Beatrix Potter) & the main hub. The staff were very friendly and helpful (my elderly Mum was incorrectly allocated a twin room, however the Receptionist promptly offered a replacement double room for her). The rooms were spacious and included a king sized bed (very comfortable), large tv, selection of tea/coffee, range of toiletries...however there were the occasional areas of improvement (cord for window blind too high, only one chair in a double room). Breakfast was great - large selection of continental items (cereal, mixed fruit, yogurts, pastries, toast, teas/coffee, fruit juices) & a range of hot foods to order...all top quality and tasty. The car park has a good number of spaces (albeit some of the 'bays' are narrow). If I was to return to Windermere, this would be my first choice to stay!

Great stay

Great hotel, warm welcome from the lady at reception. Breakfast great, thanks to the chef for being a waiter and the cook! Use of the leisure facilities in sister hotel was great but construction work being undertaken so some areas out of bounds. (Sunday Dinner there was amazing!) Thank you!

Windermere Holiday Stay

Had a great week in the lakes visiting attractions the the local area. Hotel was lovely and the staff were friendly and looked after us well. Breakfast was also very nice with a range of options. Beds were also very comfy!

Good Location

Windermere Park is in a good location not far from the centre of Windermere village. A good position for using to explore the area and not too far from Bowness to walk.

Reasonable option near city centre

Great location within short walking distance of city centre. Hosts were great and very accommodating. Good mix of breakfast options. Room was nice, clean and had good bath facilities. Exterior could use some maintenance to improve appeal.

Good location only couple minutes from Windermere and 20 min walk to bowness. Rooms clean but a little tired in places. Staff very friendly and ample parking spaces at back of hotel. Freshly cooked breakfast was delicious although one morning constantly ran out of coffee, juices, bread.

Had a little 2 night break with the dog , overall stay was quite pleasing , the hosts were super friendly , breakfast was good , hot breakfast went down well .. just a little attention to detail regarding the room itself , just a couple of things that could of been cleaned .i.e the fan , mirrors and toilet brush but overall quite pleasant and relaxed stay …
