"- Upon check in they said they “upgraded” our room.. what they meant was, we paid the same price to go from a King size bed to 2 double beds. Beds were terribly uncomfortable. - Only 1 working elevator for a majority of the stay.. so you’d have to wait up to 10 minutes for a free elevator - The hotel can be pretty loud at night making it difficult to sleep, especially if your bed is uncomfortable - The TV randomly turned on by itself around 2pm. Plus our TV remote control died, so we had to unplug the TV A few positives: - The splash bar food and drinks were surprisingly good. The servers there were very nice - Great location to the beach, quick walk with a lot of options for food and drinks "

"The room was clean and the air-con worked well. Staff were friendly and helped us with our enquiries. The free breakfast provided a good start to the day and the free shuttle bus to the airport was an added bonus. The location is ideal for early morning flights out of Honolulu."

"The bathroom was very outdated. There’s no switch for the bathroom vent which was rusty and dusty. There’s no place to hang hand towel by the sink so had to hang it on the magnifier mirror. The table/ledge under TV and the coffee maker and box that had the coffee pods were visibly dusty. There was no office chair for the table/ledge that standard hotel rooms have; I had to request one and that was dusty and scratched up. The Pacific Tower ocean view was nice, able to see Friday night fireworks from balcony. The location was great, walkable to a lot of restaurants and shops. Staff was very nice. Valet takes a while to get the car because of other guests. As guests, there’s free admission to Bishop Museum and discount to Cirque du Soleil Auana. "
