"Staff at the Winterset Cobblestone Inn was so accommodating - letting my family use the bar/breakfast room for a Saturday night UNO competition, and even inviting us to help ourselves to beverages and snacks. Though a couple of my travel companions thought their beds were too firm or lumpy, I slept well in my bed. However, I have to admit that I'm not a fan of the many small and hard "boulder" pillows that are stacked into a little mountain on the bed. I prefer the larger, softer pillows.
Landscaping and lobby were neat and attractive. Rooms were clean and the breakfast choices included some extras such as blueberry compote for our self-made waffles, three varieties of yogurt, and both apple and orange juice."
