"not a good sleep the first night due to a machine in the courtyard for freezing purposes. apparently the normal freezer had broken. however after we complained we were moved to another room which was a lot better in fact an upgrade on our previous room hopefully the university of cambridge will rectify this in the not to distant future. the staff were excellent"

There are numerous public transport facilities with it being located right next to a train station with convenient connections to london and the north. The hotel is situated in a quiet modernised area and the parking is safe and in plentiful availability. "Great place to stay if you are travelling with kids. The family rooms were good. We arrived really late in the evening after 11am and were able to food and drink easily from the service station right next door. We also needed an iron and ironing board and the hotel staff were able to get one sorted for us quickly. We stayed one night on route to our final destination."

"Expectations exceeded reality. Initially the astetics of arriving at the pub/hotel looked promising and the ambiance of the bar area pleasent with polite reception staff.The room (4) was at first site ok, but a more detailed look revealed a more dirty aspect and not as expected. The windows slatted blind very dusty, corner of the bathroom by the door, grime. Black mold in the shower around the metal shelf, the shower head holder broken and loosy fitted the drooping shower head. Under the bed...
