The staff were incompetent apart from Harry the bar man, the staff lacked common sense and the ability to clear a table (6 tables were dirty, full of plates and glass and one girl was standing drinking a drink and chatting) this went on for over an hour.
The quickness to be served was unbearable at times, zero urgency.
The front of house receptionist was highly stressed and rude to some of our party.
The spa being closed was a reoccurring problem from prior to the stay and during the stay. The manager Matthew stated he would contact me if he was able to get an early check in as my room which was allocated to me was already in use till 12, the receptionist informed no one was in and managed to get me in. Matthew didn’t contact me or anywhere to be found.
The room had a welcome plate of sweet treats however they were ROCK HARD, nice thought however inedible.
Agreed compensation from the spa, the hotel weren’t able to compute this gesture and 5 women were sat amongst dirty tables and incompetent staff.
The pool area and sauna were outdated and didn’t smell nice.
The golf course and golf service was great.
The room was clean.
The food when it came was lovely.
Harry was a legend.
The crazy golf was brilliant.
