Clean rooms with everything you would expect in most hotels. Complimentary water in the room was welcomed especially as we stayed when temperatures were higher. Only upgrade that would be helpful is air-conditioning although we were lucky we had a cross draught with the window and balcony doors which helped hugely. All requests of staff even when it came to children's food requests (difficult eaters) were fulfilled. No requests were too big. The afternoon tea was lovely and definitely recommended. Spa area in terms of pool/jacuzzi were okay. To note unless you have a treatment booked you do not get given robes. So if you use the pool/jacuzzi you may want to take your own robes with you. This is something that could be improved for user experience as we didn't know that and it was a little embarrassing walking through the restaurant and past many rooms to get to the next floor up where our rooms were. Luckily we were a very large group so safety in numbers and all and we could laugh it off.

This is the worse hotel i’ve ever stayed in! There was a plate of beans and chips on a chair in one of the ‘lounge areas’ from the night we checked in (could have been there longer!) until the morning we left, which obviously was beginning to smell awful! The room was fine, it was clean, but awfully musty and stuffy. The ‘balcony’ was laughable, it was a small metal platform (think scaffolding) which we couldn’t access anyway because of the window lock. They did supply us with a fan, which sounded like a brick in a washing machine, but it took the edge off. Our room didn’t have cold water from the taps, only scalding hot water, which meant we couldn’t shower throughout the whole of our stay (without melting off our skin), which when we were staying to attend a wedding on the hottest day of the year was more than inconvenient. Because there was only boiling water, we had no access to drinking water, unfortunately the housekeeper never attended to our room so the bottles didn’t get replaced, which again in a heatwave was more than inconvenient. I tried drinking the boiling tap water and it tasted like sewage so don’t try that. The breakfast was not even worth approaching, they were running out of everything, but ‘they’ve asked the kitchen for more’, there is one coffee machine for the whole hotel, and no mugs provided, and when i asked for one i was given a sassy response about them being everywhere. It feels like it’s been abandoned by management… depressing.

In need of a face lift! Dated and tired, but clean and presentable. It just felt it had seen better times and desperately needed some love and some cash. Car park is scruffy, and unmaintained. Food is acceptable and the coffee is ok. WiFi not the best, but the bed was comfy.

The morning after our first night. There was one young lady having to deal with the whole breakfast service on her own. She was amazing, considering the lack of support from higher ups. All of the doors have their automation removed. Being a hotel with a more mature clientele, I spent most of my break there holding doors open. Booked a twin room through Expedia and ended up with a double. Luckily another guest in our party cancelled, so we used that room. Unfortunately my son got a knock on the door at 2300 with a stranger asking if the room was vacant!

What an amazing experience for a fair and reasonable price, some of the amenities were undergoing refurbishment during our stay, however the amazing staff were very accommodating for this and allowed us a discounted rate for certain things we wasn’t able to experience to the fullest. We have been to a few spas in our time, I can honestly say the temple spa treatments we received at Ufford Park were sublime Food was amazing (and I’m a very picky eater) Golf course and general vibe was so relaxed and phenomenal 100% we will be returning again in the future
