"Air conditioning nice and cold. Soft, comfortable bed and really good pillows. Good size room. Large bathroom with a rain shower head that had great pressure with beautiful soft water. Lovely bathroom products. Would highly recommend!"

"Clean room and pretty spacious. Good breakfast and breakfast staff. Reason for the low score was one of the managers had a poor manner about them. My wife mentioned it to me when she was trying to check in half and hour early and I didn’t believe her but I witnessed it when I was checking out. At check out we asked if we could store a small cabin bag so we could go for a walk along the front but we were told the bag storage area was full. Really? If true then you need a bigger storage...

"Basic hotel, but clean room and comfortable bed. Staff really friendly and helpful. Stay included breakfast, but limited really to takeaway style bags in which to take your choices to your room, or sit at small tables in reception. Would probably give it a miss if staying again. Location is in the middle of large industrial estate, so whilst its cheap, and ok just to put your head down for a night or two, it is limited in what it can offer to tourists."

"Excellent attentive staff in every area of hotel. I stay there regularly when visiting friends and family and my only two beefs are that the elevators seem very slow and the rooms themselves do not have enough lighting. The beds are super comfortable and rooms are very clean. The bathrooms are huge but would be nice to have face cloths again but I am noticing a trend internationally regarding this! Great for parking and public transport is very handy if needed. I will be staying there again."

"Let’s get the negatives out of the way - breakfast quality was dubious - not sure how they made scrambled eggs and cramped buffet area. The hotel is, of course, a Victorian railway hotel. "As many have said, this is a dated hotel with a very 1970s feel. We stayed on a Friday night as we had an early flight the next day, and the car park was very busy (as was the bar, so we ended up eating in a side room). The food was actually pretty good. The rooms were fairly basic but comfortable, and we felt safe the whole time. It was a very short walk to the airport the next morning (I asked if they did wake-up phone calls and got a firm 'no').
