"If you are looking to stay somewhere on a budget with an amazing location that also has a restaurant and a beach literally right in front of the property. This is a great spot. I know some reviews complained that it’s an older hotel but it is the cleanest hotel I have stayed in my entire trip. We had really comfortable beds and a really nice bathroom. "I picked the Surfing Turtle based upon positive reviews but I definitely didn’t have a good experience. I guess someone has to draw the short straw. That was me - my room faced the very BUSY and LOUD road that was about 4 feet from the door. The loud music from nearby clubs went on late into the night. "Perfect location. Room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Staff were friendly. There was a bit of confusion when we arrived as you need to give them another cc on file to get a code for entry. It’s a guest house and not a hotel so there’s no staff onsite but the host was very responsive, helpful, and friendly. "
