"The location was solid as far as easy and convenient. We got some good egg sandos for breakfast from a food cart a block away. That was cool. There are nice shops nearby but the homelessness is out of control and the people- sadly-are in such a bad place but it makes walking around with kids feel unsafe and unpleasant. The staff was fine, not overly friendly but did their jobs. The room was a bit outdated but it was quiet."

"The location was good but the homelessness was a real problem. There was a half full wine glass in the lobby when we checked in and was still there when we left. The library/room with a pool table had broken pool cues and was in disrepair. The food was good and the staff were really nice."

"The Hoxton is alright. It's a hipster hotel trying to hard to be a hipster hotel. They gave us two White Claws at checkin. That was a first. Our room was small. Super small. Like fighting NYC's tiny rooms for smallest space still rentable. Honestly nothing really bad to say. Nothing super good either. Other than you could actually get the room very dark at night. Bonus points for that. The mini fridge didn't work. The light switches were bananas. We finally got it sorted on our way out the door....
