"We stayed for one night at this hotel. The good: Check-in was easy and service was great. We were explained all of the amenities and the on-site dining options. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds. The bathrooms are clean with a nice walk-in shower. Overall, the room felt on the higher-end. The bad: The entire area is heavily visited by unhoused individuals. We parked the car in front of the hotel just steps away from somebody passed out in the grass. "Charging a "resort fee" is wild. Obviously that means the coffee isn't complimentary. The waitress in the bistro forgot to put my husband's breakfast in, there was only one other person in the bistro. Otherwise, the room was spacious, bed super comfortable, bathroom was really clean, and the staff was very kind and accommodating."

"Everything is good. However, I was confused a lot while chekcing in because of mandatory velit parking. It could be much more better to have a clear sign notice at the entrance. Meanwhile, I also wonder the rule that no children from 8:00 to 10:00 pm in the swimming pool because the parent have to take care of them. Maybe it is for those adults who travel without kides?"

"We had a lovely upgraded room on the top floor with wonderful views. The bed is comfortable and the room has all amenities you would expect. There is a happy hour where a couple beers are offered from 5pm to 6pm, which is a nice touch. The hotel could not be in a better location for walkability."

"I recently stayed at the Mark Spencer Hotel in Portland and my girls and I had a great experience. I arrived before check in and the staff graciously allowed me to park my rental car early, which was a huge convenience and a great first impression. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and my room was spacious with a kitchenette that made the stay even more comfortable. The location was perfect—within walking distance of many great restaurants. I would definitely stay here...

"It's a nice hotel but nowhere near luxury class and was overpriced. Paid almost 30 for a tiny piece of fish. Was told it came with peas when we asked what it came with. There were literally 12 peas. So I guess technically it came with peas. After eating the 4 bites of fish, we went out for dinner after dinner. Luxury prices but not a luxury experience."

"This was a great hotel. The location was good for walking around. They offered valet parking which was convenient. There is a bar in the basement that servers coffee, drinks and breakfast for a free. The room seemed new and was clean."

I got my car broken into sadly within a 3 hour period of street parking, however the staff extended our stay, vacuumed the glass in our car out and gave us drink tickets for the inconvenience. Very friendly, very clean. 4.5/5 bc it’s not their fault Portland theft sucks."
