"The room was clean and well stocked with essentials. Staff at check in and check out were extremely helpful and personable. Upon check in we asked for supper recommendations and staff was eager to assist. The hotel is in a nice location and easily accessible to UNC hospital."

"The room was great, I was on the 5th floor and the view was nice. It was quiet and smoke free. The young man at the desk was very friendly and immensely helpful with questions. He suggested a great place for dinner as well. The music from the nearby jamboree?!? Was terrible until about 11 but the stay was great."

"The first room that we got was a suite so there was a couch in the room, upon entering the room it felt off. Maybe like there was furniture missing. The furniture wasn't in the proper place, lined up with the artwork, it looked funny. But also there was a rip in the couch and it was stained. One of the curtains was broken, the lamp shade was broken. We had a wonderful stay here last year but this year it felt a little gross. I am not sure if management changed or anything, I am just surprised by...

"Took 30 minutes and two requests for my ID from different staff to check in on a slow Tuesday afternoon. A staff member just said, “no” when i asked if she knew where i could get a bandaid. Overall, impression of staff was not especially competent or welcoming."

"The hotel looks like a relatively new establishment. It is very clean and well-maintained. Great for your family if you are not looking for luxury stay. The lobby has board games and other amenities for your family to play and relax."

"Maintenance needs improvement. Lights needed to be replaced in our room, the fan was not working and the stopper in the sink needed to be fixed. For what we paid, these items should have been done before we arrived. The cleaning staff should check all items in the room before leaving and making ready for the next customer. The hotel did move us to another room which we appreciated, but inconvenient as we had to pack all items up again after unloading."

"The only thing I did not like was my office chair in the room. It was broken and made it hard to work. The room walls were pretty thin so I could hear the kids upstairs jumping off furniture. Lastly my refrigerator was loud which made it hard to sleep sometimes."
