"On first impression the hotel room wasn't that clean, the carpets had a lot of stains, doors/cupboards grubby. However overall the room was huge (like a suite) and it was very easy to relax at the end of the day. The decor is very unique and interesting if you like old royal style, a bit like a castle. "Very dusty rooms/Floor. Hair on the blanket. No AC, called and was told that it will be cool at night, but it was hot. A lot of Mosquitos. Advertised on hotels.com with free minibar, Nothing. No welcome drink, given the next morning after asked. May be due to almost midnight arrival. Vegetable side on breakfast plate was spoiled. For the price range, not worth it. Pro : free bicycle. Hotwater for shower. Cute little garden in the back. Great homemade tea."

"The hotel needs to update its facilities because it is already too old. It does not live up to it’s 4-star hotel status. We booked it hoping that we will have a wonderful experience in a 4-star hotel, but we were very disappointed with the quality of room we had. They need to upgrade the hotel and compete with other 4-star hotels in the city."
