Shinagawa Prince Hotel
Eating at the hotel was surprising. The prices in Japan usually include the service charge and taxes. This hotel does not do this and you end up with a 20 % surprize charge

APA Hotel & Resort Ryogoku Eki Tower
Definitely clean, but of course really small rooms. Having a Lawson in the building was very convenient and it's pretty close to a couple different subway lines. Only thing that was pretty irritating were the elevators...at peak times it can take forever to get on one.
