 Ocean Sands at York Beach

Ocean Sands at York Beach

10/10 Excellent
"Great hotel right across from the beach/ocean. Newly renovated with some renovations still in the works. Great pool & coffee bar. We stayed in a room, but there are cottages too. Hoping to make it an annual event. Would highly recommend this hotel."

The Grandview Hotel

The Grandview Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"The room had a balcony, which provided an excellent view of the ocean! The staff were very friendly. Plenty of parking behind the hotel, with excellent access to the 2nd & 3rd floor rooms. the beds were comfortable and had plenty of pillows unlike some places that skimp out on them. Would definitely recommend this place."

Ocean Surf at York Beach

Ocean Surf at York Beach

8/10 Good
"The Ocean Surf was a nice hotel. The pools are wonderful. We loved having the beach right across the street from us. Very close to restaurants and shops. The staff that checked us in was very informative, kind and welcoming. However, on the second day of our stay we asked for more towels and were told they would be brought to our room and never arrived. Our room floor definitely was not swept well, it was pretty sandy. Overall our stay a 3.5/5"

The Lighthouse Inn & Suites

The Lighthouse Inn & Suites

10/10 Excellent
"A very good choice for York Beach which is a less than a 5min downhill walk from the property. The room was clean, odorless, spacious and the bed was on the firmer side, which I prefer. Available outlets at the head of both sides of my bed. Crisp, clean linens and large bath towels. No funky aromas from the in-window a/c unit which kept the room at my desired temperature on a hot and humid summer day and night. The pool area was clean, uncluttered and not busy. The pool water was crystal clear and refreshing. Plenty of pool towels available in pool-side, self-serve bin. 2-3 good restaurants overlooking the beach within a half mile or so, same for breakfast counters/cafes and snack-bars. Downtown/touristy area less than a mile walk. SUPER FRIENDLY, accommodating staff!!"

Inn on the Blues

Inn on the Blues

10/10 Excellent
"Accommodations were very clean! AC was good. parking was good, but tight for 2 cars as we rented the 2 bedroom suite, so we had 3 couples in 2 cars. So, we were not sure how to park for 2 cars and needed to park one of the cars at another location. please leave spare garbage bags to use for the trash bucket in the kitchen as the trash started to overflow on the 3rd day of our visit. We used our shopping bags for the trash that did not fit in the trash bucket. Not a big deal, but it would be more convenient to have spare trash bags. Thank you. we would recommend staying Inn on the Blues to our friends. overall, It was very good accommodations."
