"This was a nice spot to stay for a couple nights while we were attending a wedding in the area. The suite was nice and clean and the staff at the counter and at breakfast were really great. They could probably use another elevator as the wait seemed like it might be an issue. We were just taking the stairs since we were on the second floor, but obviously that’s not an option for everyone. The only issue I had was with the location. The area itself seemed okay; not the nicest in my opinion, but I don’t really know Charlotte very well. My issue was more with access in/out while driving. You can only turn right out of the parking lot, which meant you had to do a U-Turn a little bit down Tryon Street if you needed to go the other way. You may be able to get to the street another way if you go back behind the hotel, but we didn’t try this, we were just following GPS. The other issue was just the intersection in general… it is pretty heavy traffic through here and takes forever to get through no matter which way we were coming from. The traffic lights around here just seem like a mess. I initially didn’t want to remove a star for this since it might not be an issue for some people (especially if you aren’t going in and out a whole lot), but it was actually very inconvenient and held us up multiple times. While I wouldn’t mind staying in this hotel again, I wouldn’t stay in this area again."

"Loved this hotel, from the friendly staff to the overall comfort. The only downside is the pet fee, which is higher than expected. Because of that, I likely won’t be staying again, but everything else was excellent."

"The receptionist (Latesha, maybe?) and the shuttle driver were both so helpful, polite and professional. All areas were clean, as was the room. Comfortable and good value for money. Close to CLT, quiet location, easy access."

"The staff at the front desk were very friendly. Breakfast closed at 9:30 which was disappointing and wasn’t clearly advertised. Parking and unloading luggage was inconvenient to location. There were no carts available upon arrival and you had to go up to the 5th floor of hotel to get a cart and come back down to the sidewalk. There was only 1 elevator available so that took quite some time. There was no usb plug in the room to charge devices."

"Toilets were very strange. Shallow and low to the ground. Bathroom was not extremely clean."

"The staff on the day of arriving were extremely rude and not to mention there were things in the room that didn’t work and when I’d call or my find would call front desk they would blow us off. It sucked and made us feel a little unwelcomed. I know I wouldn’t come back after this."

"Great stay, nice hotel. Good location of I77. Staff wonderful. Room and beds comfortable. Nice bar/restaurant onsite in lobby, did not eat there but a nice vibe. nice in room soaps. Nice outdoor pool area, fire pits, pool bar.... was not open, assume is seasonal. Need more luggage carts!! 18 floor hotel and only a couple carts."
