"The river rooms are best as there is alot of early morning traffic in the roadside rooms. Other than that the hotel and staff were great."

"The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was quite good. You used your key to access the property at night, along with the lift and stairs. We weren’t told about it during check-in but discovered it on our own. Bed was ok but pillows were not very comfortable. "

"We stayed in York at the Indigo for two nights, the room was clean and spacious, staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Parking was easy to access and nearby. Location wise the hotel is very close to everything albeit in a town where everything is within an easy 10-15 minute walk max."

"2rd stay at this hotel. Refused upgrade said not available. Had to argue for a 1 1/2 hour late checkout we did get a one hour late( why not give the extra 1/2 hour we asked for. No free parking mentioned. We never ate at this hotel too expensive. The bar is small and difficult to find a seat except spillover in hall. Bar staff were very nice but to busy to talk and drinks were crazy expensive. The bathroom sink only produced scalding hot water or cold.😡 For a five star we expected better service"

"An excellent stay at this well located hotel. The food was excellent, the menu isn't massive but I'd rather a smaller menu with exceptional food than an extensive menu with poor food. The venison in red wine was ad one of the staff desc6it, to die for! Breakfast was also very good."
