Cari Vila di York

"This is the sweetest and most endearing spot. The building itself has so many charming old quirks, like many stairs, exposed beams, antique furniture. I loved the location right in the thick of things, though probably not the quietest area if that's a concern. There were biscuits with our in room coffee, the staff were so friendly and accommodating and the breakfast is the best value and size we have ever had on our travels. Highly recommend if you don't require any accessibility accommodations...

"Gorgeous property, helpful staff and delicious food!! Definitely worth a stay!"

"The hotel is very well positioned to explore York being only about 5 minutes walk from York Minster. The room was quite large with a King Sized bed and a nice bathroom. There is also on-site parking."

"Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. The staff was very kind. I did Not prefer that it is your responsibility to select to have your room cleaned & freshened (the day before you want it cleaned). I feel that a 4 star property should automatically provide daily housekeeping to some extent."

"My room was spotless with a comfy double bed. Hot water was plentiful and pretty much instantly available. My room was a loft room at the top of the house. (Not really suitable for anyone with mobility problems but fine for everyone else). In addition to the the usual features of a bedroom it also had a space with fridge, microwave and small dining area. I didn't use the extra facilities as I was only there one night but it would be ideal for anyone wanting to reduce costs by preparing a simple...

"The only good thing about this hotel is its location.. Beyond that, the hotel is being run extremely poorly. The management clearly lacks a basic understanding of hospitality and guest service. The cleanliness also needs serious attention, as the overall condition of the hotel falls far below what you would expect. There is a lot of work to be done to bring this property up to an acceptable standard."

"Historic building with modern makeover of the interior . Very pleasant helpful staff . Well appointed bedrooms everything looked fresh and attractive . Lovely grounds too . Handy for buses into the city . And the bar snacks were excellent too ."

"This was the best place I stayed at on my 10 day UK adventure. The room was gorgeous, the bed was sooooo comfortable, and the staff were so very kind. The only down side was no free breakfast but can’t expect everything to be spectacular."

"We were 3 people and we were provided a small apartment with two twin beds and a pullout sofa bed in the living/dining area. The apartment had a small washing machine which was great. Everything was perfect"

"Slight problem with the room allocated to us as it was below expected standard. However, this was rectified quickly with a change of room. Great service given by reception staff."
