"Arrival was easy, nobody manning reception but was not a problem, key left on the side clearly labelled and clear instructions etc.
Room clean and well presented, good amenities, including tea, coffee, fresh milk etc.
Room not perfectly blackout with some streetlight coming in round the side of the curtains, and a faint green light from the fire exit sign, not something that bothers me as I sleep with my eyes closed, but some day dreamers might want a blindfold.
Bed was clean, very comfortable...

"Easy checkin. Great location for station and city centre. Staff lovely. Room great, no issues at all. Included breakfast very good but oh, the juices were so artificially sweet, not nice at all. Otherwise, will definitely use again."

"Such a lovely guest house, the interiors were absolutely beautiful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, featuring classic period furniture. The bed was very cosy. The bathroom was perfect. The shower was spacious with excellent water pressure. Tasty cooked breakfast. Location was great, about a 20 min walk in to York City Centre. Highly recommend."
