"Curry (now Half Dome) village is an unpretentious base for walking in Yosemite Valley. It is right on the spot for early starts, and the simple cabins (I was in a tent cabin) avoid the need for camping equipment. Facilities on site are well run and just what is needed. The communal dining hall is very good, reasonably priced, and has a nice atmosphere in the evening. "Room was beautiful and spacious and great location. My room refrigerator was leaking when I arrived and although staff was informed, it was still leaking when I left the next day, so not addressed. Staff when I was checking out was friendlier than checking in. Restaurant only had one floor employee, so a little hectic/slow but good food. "
