"The Ahwahnee hotel is conveniently located in Yosemite Valley and within walking distance to a couple of trails, as well as the Merced River. There is a bus stop at the hotel where you can catch a free shuttle to other areas of Yosemite Valley, which is perfect if you’re traveling during peak season and don’t want to deal with parking in other areas of the park. The common sitting areas are very comfortable with amble seating and huge fireplaces that you can sit in and warm up after a long day...

"At first, find our house was confused, I was very impressed with the house after found the place. There was no grill gas for barbecue, so eating outside was a bit little tricky.. But everything was very impressed and had a good time."

"Cette location est très bien située dans le parc des Yosemite : dommage que le ménage soit minimaliste et que les deux banquettes convertibles soient très inconfortables. A ne pas conseiller à plus de 6 personnes, sauf si les couchages supplémentaires sont destinés à des enfants. Nous avons informé du problème le prestataire. Sa seule réponse a été la mise à disposition d'un matelas pneumatique livré le deuxième jour, ce qui ne pouvait pas plus nous satisfaire (8 adultes de plus de 60 ans)....

"Clean and quiet room, very comfortable bed. Helpful staff. This is a hillside property so there are steps in various places. So nice to have a restaurant on-site. I hope to try the hot tub and massage next time."

"I like that this place is close to the park entrance so getting there is fairly easy. The place was not crowded so noise was not an issue, sometimes it has been noisy here. I did not use the large tub, but for some that might be a plus. It provided a good sleep. I just wish it was a bit more affordable for enjoying Yosemite for more than one night. I travelled with my husband."

"This place is amazing! The road is a little rough but the bonus is you are in the middle of the forest surrounded by nature. The cabins are good, the heather is a little noise so bring earplugs. Is really closed to Hetch Hetchy part and one hour from the Yosemite Valley. Good place to unwind."

"Fridge in first room was not working and fully defrosted. We asked to be moved. Second room did not have working cable television, but we were too tired to complain."

"The front desk staff is extremely unfriendly and are not interested in helping with anything at all. We had 2 separate reservations for 2 nights ( back to back) under the same name - had to check out and check back in as they said that they are fully booked and can not accommodate keeping the same room for 2 nights. It was extremely painful to take all the luggage to the front desk to keep it until we come back from Yosemite, but more surprisingly, when we checked back in - it was the same...

"We had a "Senior" suite, I believe. It was nice and clean but a little cramped for table space. Beds were really great! Best motel bed yet. The plates and bowls were a fail though. They are plastic and can't be used in the microwave. It even says "do not use in microwave" on the bottom of them. Please replace with ceramics. Very interested to see how the front restoration turns out."

"Yes they welcome pets. I did have pet hair on my clothes from a previous person with a dog. We did not have a pet The bar was perfect,dinner delicious."
