"It was old and dirty from the parking lot with trash, prostitution and drugs. The clerk was rude and did not greet with a hello. The room was so old and had a musty smell. The bathroom was dirty, the bathroom faucet was eaten up by rust. The toilet had stain, the bathtub was dirty and tile had mold. The floor was stained with coffee… the view from the window was the homeless camped in the field. This building needs to be remodeled…"

"Great for staying downtown Phoenix to attend a Suns game. The room was very clean. They have these weird vents above the doorway in the hotels rooms that dont offer a lot of sound privacy. You can see day light on the other side of the vents. So, if whisper if you dont want others to hear what your talking about while in your room"

"We needed a place to lay our heads for one night in Phoenix not too far from the airport and found it at the Downtown Hotel. It's more a two-story motel with a central parking lot monitored by video surveillance. Someone checked us in without delay when we arrived a little past midnight, having reserved it only an hour previous. Our only complaints were cosmetic: the handle of the mini fridge fell off, and the paint was peeling around the floor molding in the bathroom. The sun blazed through the uncurtained bathroom window in the morning such that I had to wear sunglasses to enter. But our praise is cosmetic too: Bowie pillow and abstract wall paint for the win! I wouldn't hesitate to overnight here again. Thanks very much."

"Check in and check out representatives both seemed like it was their first day. The pool is pathetic and old. The common areas except for the 1st floor restaurant are showing their age. I had a cold shower this morning with very little water pressure. I was not impressed with this hotel and I travel frequently. The 1st floor restaurant was great, both service and food."
