"This hotel was very close to downtown Sonoma. We could walk to restaurants, wineries, and the farmers market on Tuesday. This hotel also brings wineries in for wine tasting too. The rooms were very spacious and clean. They even had a tub! Loved staying here. "

Hot beverages were available 24/7, along with complementary soft drinks. Nice plus. Drawback, if you like modern, this is not for you. The very small TV is in the corner of the room and not really able to view. "

"We had a fantastic stay! Check in was extremely easy when you pre register before arriving. I did not see any staff on site but they communicated very well through text. I really appreciated the complementary amenities inside of the room. Even the stocked water bottles would have added money to your bill at other hotels if you used them. "We recently celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in Calistoga. Chateau de Vie was the perfect place for a romantic getaway. The property and surroundings were superb with many "pinch myself is this real moments". The pool and hot tub were a plus. Our hosts were gracious and attentive to anything we may need. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts on the patio. We are already planning our next trip back to this charming place. "
